L-Ments® is a self-supporting and thermal insulating element, designed for use in pitched roof applications (inclination between 15° - 60°) with a covering consisting of roof tiles or slates and in climate conditions of class I, II or III (not suitable for climate class IV, e.g. swimming pools). It consists of the following elements: - a core in PIR foam, which is covered on both sides by a gas diffusion tight multi-layered facer. - two integrated timber stiffeners of 45 mm wide and 120 mm high with a center-to-center distance of 600 mm, Spruce C24 (cf. EN 338 & PEFC labelled).
Fingerjoints can occur in the timber. - one integrated mounting base for the counter battens per meter length, OSB III - two counter battens of 45 mm wide and 30 mm high on top of the element, Spruce with the characteristics of C24 (cf. EN338 & PEFC labelled). - Available with or without a breathable membrane between the counter battens and the gas
diffusion tight multi-layered facing.
