Over the years, in the course of building both our expertise and our reputation in installing insulation for renovations, we’ve faced many challenges presented by small spaces. However, acting upon our experience, and by listening to our customers and partners, we took the issue of insulating in limited space to our Research & Development department. Their solution? The innovative ultra-thin Deck-VQ®, quite simply, the answer to space-challenged flat roof and terrace insulation.
Our Recticel Insulation team will provide you with a tailor-made VIP (vacuum insulation panel) design scheme for easy installation. It has high performance, is extremely reliable and is the insulation solution that succeeds where traditional
products fail.

It is our mission to continue to deliver on all kinds of challenging projects to meet our partners’ flat roof and terrace requirements. The need to provide thinner insulation solutions whilst delivering even higher thermal performance is growing for renovations — a requirement which we achieve with our VIP panels. With a thermal performance of
the core of lambda 0.006 W/mK — the best performance in the market — and a thickness of 60 mm, you can achieve even greater insulation for your renovation projects with ease. Deck-VQ ® offers an extremely high insulation value and long-term performance whilst maintaining the existing roof structure, thereby avoiding costly modification.

Easy installation
We’ve put a great deal of thought into making the installation of Deck-VQ ® as straightforward and convenient for you as possible. Modular sizes are based on standard flat roof sizes. The entire process is made easy by our tailor-made
designs. That way, we make sure it fits before it even arrives onsite.
To install, simply follow these easy instructions:
- Utilise Deck-VQ® 1200 x 600 mm and 600 x 600 mm boards in a staggered brick block design.
- Use smaller Deck-VQ® boards to cover as much of the area as possible.
- Finish the roof area with PIR (perimeter and infill)
Our Deck-VQ® VIPs are compatible with adhered single ply membranes and bituminous systems. Please review the membrane manufacturers installation details.

Our Research & Development department at Recticel Insulation lived up to their reputation and produced Deck-VQ® insulation with a thickness of no more than 60 mm, including a VIP core of 40 mm, which delivers a thermal performance of 0.006 W/mK, the lowest on the market.
3. Easy installation, great service
Our Deck-VQ® VIPs are protected which makes them easy to transport and handle. Installation, even to the most complex bespoke requirements, is made easy with the technical guidance and clever planning provided by our Recticel Insulation team.
